These are some photos I took this fall for a friend's anniversarry. He comissioned them as an etching, but they ended up as a digital heat transfer instead. After I manipulated them I transfered them onto BFK rives paper. Birds are pretty hip right now, and I hesitated at the prospect of making a trendy piece, but after these came out I was really happy with them. Birds sitting on a wire have an emotional appeal to me. They are something able to up and leave and yet they rest. I have a difficult time doing that. I think that is why I envy them so much.
